Harter Strength and Conditioning is a gym that offers Personal Training and Group training. Our program supports all levels of individuals looking to take their fitness programs to the next level. Our training systems are designed to maximize performance and help anyone train like an athlete. Our workouts are great for weight loss, building strength, injury prevention, cross-training for runners ,youth sports development, and overall fitness improvement.  We also work with athletes to support college and professional off-season lifting programs.  

Cody Harter is a lifelong coach, athlete, and founder of Harter Strength & Conditioning. He opened the first Harter Strength location in 2014 after more than a decade of coaching athletes and fitness enthusiasts in a variety of settings. As an athlete, Cody has competed in football, track & field (400m, 800m, and pole vault), golf, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, road races, and obstacle course events. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1999–2007 as a unit armorer.

Harter Strength & Conditioning was founded with a simple mission: bring performance-based strength and conditioning to a small gym environment where coaching, community, and results come first. Cody believes everyone should have a goal that inspires them to train, whether that’s completing a first 5K, improving performance in a favorite sport, losing weight, or preparing for a competitive event. His philosophy is simple—find a challenge that excites you, train with purpose, and see where the journey takes you.

Over the years, Harter Strength & Conditioning has helped athletes earn opportunities at schools including Cornell, Dartmouth, George Washington University, UMass Boston, West Point, Texas A&M, and The University of Texas. Members have included competitive athletes, military personnel, police officers, firefighters, business leaders, and everyday individuals committed to improving their health, fitness, and performance.

National Strength & Conditioning Association (CSCS), USA Boxing, USA Track and Field, National Academy of Sports Medicine, Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Titleist Performance Golf Fitness (TPI), & Functional Movement Screens (FMS) – Cody Harter is also a USMC Veteran (1999-2007)
